Photo/Video
I've been making images since my teens. First with film cameras, developing the film and learning. Then I shifted to digital cameras and now shoot with Canon, Insta360, Iphone Pro Max, drones, and anything else with a shutter.
My profound connection with nature—both animals and plants—has allowed me to capture breathtaking images, from serene landscapes to heart-stopping moments in the wild.
I love capturing people in the moments that define their lives—the ones where hearts beat a little faster and their inner light shines through. Lighting up those emotions in a flash of time is a true thrill for me.

Business
With over 30 years of success in the business world, I've had the privilege of witnessing and contributing to some of the most inspiring success stories. In the first third of my career, I thrived as an international consultant, helping companies enhance reliability and push their IT capabilities.
Joining the 10th largest utility in the world opened doors to collaborating with diverse, customer-focused teams whose dedication during challenging times was truly remarkable.
Rounding out my career as a board member for multiple companies, including serving as chair, deepened my understanding of what drives business success.
Throughout it all, my global volunteer work with IEEE and the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry has been a source of deep fulfillment, enriching both my professional and personal journey.

Interesting Fact
Not only am I a photographer/videographer, I am also a certified diver with 500+ dives and have visited all 8 continents! yes - New Zealand is it's own continent :-). I've spent countless nights watching my husband shoot the stars and then assembling the 100s of shots into a single on of the cosmos.
Tripadvisor says I've seen 34% of the world so far....still counting!
I'm John
The other piece of Creative Warrens. I share the love of life and travel with Cheri. I'm an avid astrophotographer, ham radio operator and flight simulation geek. You will see me from time to time on the shoots. Also, some of my work is featured on the site. That said, Cheri is the driving force behind the work.
Interesting Fact
During the pandemic when our travel was cut out, John decided to repurpose our safari equipment to shoot the stars! All of the images are made with Canon cameras and many with Sigma 150-600 mm lenses.
Events and Nature
Over the years Cheri has shot many weddings, anniversary parties, engagement pictures, retirement parties, family gatherings and more. When she needs an extra hand or camera, I join her.
